Such A Long Time

Hi there. It has been so long since I posted anything on here. I suppose with being 15, I can only blame my very busy social life and my terrible addiction to facebook, lol.

Today though, I have something quite exciting to share with you - or at least my mum thinks so, lol. This is the very first digital image I have ever created. This is actually one of my doodlings that mum has talked me into making digital.

So, if you like what you see, then just click the 'donate' button above to go to the my paypal page to purchase this. A bargain at only £1 for a limited period. Just click button above.

All Wrapped Up

Hello everyone

I can't believe how long it's been since I made a card or did anything on this blog. We did a family challenge this week. My gran stamped some images with her new stamps from Lili of the Valley and when my mum and I saw them we wanted them too so we all decided we were going to make a card with the same image and the lovely sketch over on the LOTV challenge blog. Here is my attempt.

Image: All Wrapped Up by Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers
Papers: DCWV Christmas Stack from last year
Cardstock: Coredinations
Embellishments: Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon from Anitas; Silver Stickles
Sentiment: Snag 'em stamps
Tools: Cuttlebug and Labels Two
Martha Stewart Snowflake Border Punch

I can enter the following challenges:
Lili of the Valley - Bev's sketch
Stampin for the Weekend - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Sparkle and Shine
Stamp with Fun - Card for a Girl
ABC - B is for Blue
Stampavie - Christmas in Summer

That's all for now. I hope you like my card.

Another late one!!

Hello there guys!
Here I am back with another creation. I wasn't too late for PFP challenge last night, as it changes at 9.00am, Phew! This time I would like my creation to be entered in The Little Yellow Challenge, which is something other than a card, so I've made a mirror.
I never quite made it... I bought it plain to alter, from my local craft shop- 'The Edinburgh Craft Shop'.
I then painted it black, using acryllic paint, then i stamped 2 swirls in the corners using a clear stamp covered with pink acryllic paints, but it never worked out very well, so i went over it with a paintbrush& the paint.. I then did some dots around the glass with an embossing tool dipped in the acryllic pink again. I then stuck 2 black gem stones,1 pink pearl then another black gemstone on the glass, which you can only see in one picture, as I had to cover the glass with paper to get a decent picture (well my mum did,as she took the pictures... which you may be able to guess as you get further down the post, lol!).
Well here it is...

(that's my mum taking the picture, just trying to get the gem stones& pearls in which are in the top right-hand corner!)

and my swirls...

and the other one...

I hope you like it :).

Good afternoon there all you lovely people :)! hope your all well and having a good weekend. Im here today to show you a tiny little creation I've made!! and when I say tiny, I mean tiny! I was at the gala day today at Mayfield and won a bottle of Red spicy mulled wine on a tombola, and as I dont like wine..
and Im too young =O! and no-one else in my house likes it, I've decided to give it to my uncle&aunty (Stephen&Sarah). So I thought I would decorate it a bit.. and although its not very much I quite like it so I thought I would show it to you guys.

Here you go then ....

and my wee bit of decoration .....

.. and since I haven't really done that much to it, theres no point in giving a recipe, so will just tell you what I done:
* I ran some cream & red CS through the bug with some label nesties to get my shapes.
*
I wrote 'Stephen&Sarah xxx' onto the cream bit and stuck it onto the red bit.

* Put 3 little red gems going round the side of the curve.

* Stuck it onto the top of the bottle with a glue dot.
* Tied a bow around the neck of the bottle with some cream ribbon from my stash.

I hope you like it, please leave comments if you have a few spare moments - Thankyou to those who do leave comments, it really encourages me, to acctually see that people do look at my work and do acctually like it - thanks again xx.

.....

Hello everyone, hope your all ok and having a nice week (not sure there is such a thing unless its holiday- but ohwell!) This post is taking me ages to complete, cos I have a sore back, I do swimming for P.E at school and think I've pulled a muscle or something, and it hurts the more I hunch forward over this computer- so I keep having to stop every so often and sit right up and back to straighten my stupid back, lol !

This week the Colour Create Challenge sounded good - 'Pink Sorbet,Lemon and Chocolate' so I decided since this is probably my most favourite colour combo, I had to do it!
I just didnt know what to do.. then I spotted my little canvas I bought and painted at the weekend, and realised I didnt really like what I had done with it.. so I decided to 'Reduce,Re-use&Recyle' and I got scissors and cut all the material off the frame to leave me with a lovely little photo frame.. so I decided that should be what I used.. and I painted it white then started to decorate it until I came up with this..

and my image close-up.....

Recipe:
Image: Daisy, Coloured with Watercolours, I drew the letters to spell Kim and the little flower is just some wee stamp from my stash!
Embellishments: The brown and yellow flowers are punched using my Grannys flower punch, the cream ribbon down the side is from my stash and it has a nice sparkly pin shoved in the bow and last but not CERTAINLY not least - my most favourite embellishment in the world = PEARLS!!! and they are Kanban.
Frame: Well as I have said above, I painted the frame white then just went round the inside bit with some 'Worn Lipstick' Distress Inks and stamped all my images and my name and stuff onto white card and stuck it on the back.. and VOILA! there we have my frame :)!

I hope you like it.. 'cos I do =D ..
I would love to hear your comments if you have a spare second or two :)
